If you can look into ftp on the board's folder, there should be an error.log. You can post the last errors here so people can know what's causing your board to not work.
Depending on your phpbb version that you have right now, the host might of just changed the php version by default and that can cause problems also, in case if you run a very old phpbb version which is not supporting php 8 or newer.
