phpBB Ideas • Move email templates into DB so they can be edited in ACP

I would like Move email templates into DB so they can be edited in ACP instead of offline in files.

Benefits:

• easier
• customized templates are backed up in DB and therefore less likely to lose in an upgrade.

I have some development background but have never coded PHPBB. I can attempt to do this if someone knowledgeable can give me some pointers and or one example.
